S2000 prototype on Nurburgring

I ran across this video some time ago but I thought everyone else might like to get a good gander at it. Watching one of the Honda test drivers drive the hell out of a late S2000 prototype on the Nurburgring gives me smiles - especially since he has zero qualms of banging it regularly against the rev limiter. He brings the lap in around 9 minutes even though he had to share the course with non-professionals.

Sadly the closest I'll get to having my S2000 on the Nurburgring is configuring the S2000 in Forza 2 the same as mine. I'll just have to live vicariously through video games and videos on the internet, oh well

In GT4 I could crank out 8:30 pretty regular in a stock S2000.

Fun video - that must have been very near a production S2000 - the interior looks a lot like the AP1s.

 

That guy is an amazing driver Maybe one day I will get near that level of skill and coolness Or maybe it's just the white socks

 

The white socks, with the black dress shoes and no helmet is what makes this video such a classic.

 

Yea when I saw no helmet top down I was like my god.

 

I'm so glad we got the AP1 interior and not the original SSM styling
