I think the secret compartment scares cops....

I got pulled over last night, no ticket, but it was funny because when I went to open that secret compartment to get the registration and insurance, he was all blasting that flashlight in the secret compartment like WTF is going on here...

HAHA. What did you get pulled over for?

My roommate was riding in his girlfriend's truck the other day and a cop passed them going the other, pulled a U-y (?), then pulled them over JUST to tell my roommate that he was wearing his seatbelt "too low on his shoulder". I guess Eugene cops get bored.

thats a pretty lame reason...lol

I was speeding. a bit. he didn't clock me though, thank god. I had just come out of a 45 zone on tv hwy and was going into the housing dev that I live in... where it is 25mph, I didn't slow down.... until I got to the sharp corner that you have to slow down at (which is where the houses start). His terms, "You were on it pretty hard..." yeah, I was. oh well. I am a horrible human being, I admit it. I was just enjoying having the top down a little too much and there is a nice long straight stretch of road there.
You're lucky. Because I'm an Asian minority the cop would've seen that I was sitting lower and started writing the ticket as he was driving, before he even turned his lights on to pull me over. Do they ask you guys for a Green Card too??

Hey Jay,

Did the officer notice or mention anything about the lack of a front license plate?

nope, but it was dark, and I don't think that he ever saw the front of my car.

I didn't think you did have one... In fact I would have been incredibly surprised if you did... but just the idea that you could be asked for it is all the more ludicrous since you are a normal citizen

To get back on topic:

I keep my green card next to my the manual that I never read because it is still wrapped in the plastic and is in my secret compartment that I don't know about.
