Default Which shops?

Those with modded s2ks where do you get your work done? Or do you just DIY? I know of a few shops....Importss, Ground Zero, PRE, Horsepower/Torque Freaks. I've been driving RX-7s for the past 4yrs so I've only been to Pineapple and Corksport, but they only do rotaries. Thanks.

I've heard Horsepower/Torque freaks is pretty good. A guy down here @ UO drives the old Ground Zero shop S2000.

What type of work are you talking about. I think that certain shops are good for some things but not all. I am a DIY'er for the most part but I don't really do that many performance mods.

BTW- I know the owner of Corksport. He hooked me up with my AEM V2 intake for my S at a real good price They are good guys there. My ex-girlfriendused to work there as the front desk girl If you have any specific questions on where to get work done post those up in here and I am sure someone will have advice

Good luck and welcome again,

Brandon

You might wanna try Torque Freaks. Thomas Strom went to work there recently, and he's a big Honda guy. I just took a ride in his 89 Civic "Show/Race" car yesterday. HOLY CRAP it's fast.

Congrats on the new toy.

Check out the s2ki sponsors, and the group buy section of the for sale thread. There are some pretty good deals in there, and for the most part you cant beat the prices from the sponsors. Nobody around town stocks s2000 parts anyways, so you have to wait on the shipping either way

Oh, and torquefreaks is a great place to get some tuning done (if you ever get real serious), or to do installs for you if your not comfortable doing it yourself

^^^^^^ Totally true^^^^^^

I've dealt with quite a few of the online sponsors, and have had great experiences with all. Jeff @ Hardtopguy.com, Ricks, and Evasive have been especially helpful.

Pineapple will do more than just rotaries, he rebuilt and cryo'd the tranny on my se-r, and he had another SR20 with forged junk in it sitting in the shop he offered to sell me, but I had one already So I'm sure if you wanted to yank the motor out yourself, he'd do whatever you needed.
