Default Sloshing water

If my s2k sits out in the rain overnight I get the sound of sloshing water in the back. I only get it on my first acceleration, then it goes away. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I'm not too worried because I keep it in the garage most of the time, and the water seems to drain right after I start driving.

Might be rain accumulating behind the rear window? Soft top or hardtop? Mine Likes to rain on me from the window weather stripping right where the two gaskets meet on the soft top.

I bet it's water in the trunk. Lots of the S2000 trunks leak. Mine does, I know Evan's does. I would pull the carpet and see if it is taking water damage.

I just had this fixed in my S. Call Steve at Beaverton auto upholestry and he can fix for 150. Water comes in a vent located in the center of the trunk. After a week they located and no problems since.

What did they do about the leaky vent? Is there any reason why you couldn't just cover the vent with some packing tape? Seems like a great way to save $150.

$150 is a rip off!!
There is a sticky to fix this in the Under the hood section.

I'm not an expert by any means, but it looks like you can fix it for almost nothing.
