Well I figured I would take the advice of the many and just made the call to my friend that works at a local tire distributor to order larger rear tires. They'll be here early next week. Hopefully this is a good fix to my problem. If not at least the car will handle better. Maybe now you guys won't laugh at me!

Those of us that have been around for awhile sorting this car out in various ways simply have lessons-learned experiences to share. My take is that the advice given on this site is not about ridicule, rather is about helping newer owners save themselves from bad -- and in some cases expensive -- decisions.

I applaud your decision to restore the cars' intended wheel/tire stagger. I'm sure you'll see the value of this after doing so.

All the best,
Will

Let us know if you notice a difference with the stagger back in.

I installed a set of teins and it took me 6 hours + 1 hour alignment at firestone. (lifetime for only 139.00). I bought a service manual on ebay and was able to follow the instructions to remove the struts and the toque specs. (very important) I only lowered it 1 inch and i still can drive without worries. I'm very proud. If you need help installing let me know.
