SSR Type C RS
The SSR' are finally on the S after a few small issuses. I order the wheels from Tire Rack from Jim, he assured me that everything would be fine. However when UPS dropped off the boxes of wheels they all said Kazera all over them with a picture of some other wheel. So I looked at the packing slip and it was correct the boxes were not. At this point I opened up one of the boxes only to find a smaller box inside with a smaller box inside of that. After opening the third box i finally found the wheel and it was what I ordered. I guess they use the old boxes to protect the wheels they send out. It did me a bit of a scare though.
Then when I went to get the wheels installed at America's Tire Co they where going to put the wheels on without the hub rings. I always watch as work is being done for this reason. The tech was bolting the wheels up with the hub ring no more than two feet from him on the ground. I asked him "Are those extra hub rings or did you forget to put them in?" He looks up and said "oh you don't need them." I was just about to lay into the guy when the other tech helping told him yes they do need to be put on that why they came with the wheels.
So after all that I now have them on. Here are some pics I took after getting them put on.
