Stonehenge...
Good drive. Thanks for inviting the Seattle gang down, I know all of us enjoyed the trip and drive.
Looking forward to St Helens
My only suggestions would be timing (starting a bit later might enable more of us with a bit of a hike to get there to join in) and to whoever is leading the group (in this case Brandon)... when you get to small towns, especially podunk 1-cop towns, slow down.
Because of how cars accordion out, when you come into a slow town, the back cars are a long ways behind you and have to go too fast to stay close to the lead cars. I don't mind hauling ass in rural areas, but I don't like going 35 in a 25 in those 1-cop towns just trying to keep sight of the next car.

It is wierd how the "accordion" out like you said. I slowed down in those towns to the speed limit but it is obvious that I should have slowed down more or at least waited awhile before speeding back up. This is my first time leading a group this size so it is a learning experience for me
Love all the pics guys. St. Helens...here we come
Brandon
^^ Same thing for me as well.
I was talking to a guy I know who has been a part of numerous car clubs and done poker runs and rally drives. He said the biggest thing to do for a drive is to drive just at or below the speed limit for any long haul stretches with multi-lane roads. That way everyone else can just zip by you and the group has no problem sticking together.
Not as much "FUN", but something to keep in mind. He had told me that before and it went right out the window. Very easy to get caught up in the run and forget about the stretch. Especially once you deal with having to pass up the real slowpoke cars on the road and part of the group cant make the pass easily.
I fell right back into my normal highway speed once we hit I-84, and kept having to force myself to slow down a little, forgetting that not everyone drives like I do.
All the more reason to go on more drives to get better at it I suppose

Awesome pics everyone. Keep them coming (Doug, Huy, and whoever else
)
The accordian affect is kinda strange. Was there with Brandon going 25, not knowing others were falling behind. Was also way behind on I84 trying to catch up with no luck. Guess it's a good lesson for everybody on future drives.

I guess that's where FRS radios come in handy.

Very cool thanks for sharing the video
. Must be hard to film while driving.
That is an awesome video. It is a great publicity tool as well. Thanks for taking the video and putting it together.
