Summer Cruise 2010
So My friend who drives a 3000gt is trying to get a cruise together. It sounds like it was going to just be mitsu but he kinda wants to do a whole import cruise..... which would include Honda,Mitsu,Subaru,Scion,Yota,Bmw,Vdub etc etc etc...... anyone interested.
Ohh and no body wants tickets so it would be a nice cruise. Possibly to a dealer... Right now its just a feeler but if we get enough interested we could get something big

This is from a smaller up-and-coming forum i use. I know it is early but i would like to start a list for people who PLAN on going....i know alot will change by then, but id like to get a general idea ASAP so i could make more specific plans. ill try to keep this list updated from all the sites i can. Some of these members on the list my not be members on this forum. Please copy and paste, and i will update this post. Post your name, a +# if you want to bring someone else, and your login with (??????), and lastly the vehicle you PLAN on bringing. My goal is a minimum of 30 vehicles.
1. Alex +1 (ObScUrE) - 3000GT VR4
2. Justin +1 (Jkwon) - S2000
3. Justin (Trajek) - Stealth
--Im not exactly sure how many of the members would be up for it, but i was thinking of planning a "long road course" from point A to point B to point C... maybe something like from a Eugene point to a Portland point, meet at a restaurant, then do the same to the beach, maybe Newport? It could start at 8 or 9 in the AM and run untill whenever done, probably 9 or 10 ish. Im not saying everyone needs to just haul ass and get tickets left and right, but it would be a fun cruise with enough cars, and be a good chance for everyone to meet each other and have lunch and/or dinner. Maybe an afterparty somewhere as well. I just figured i would throw this out in the open soon. I was thinking in the area of June/July....maybe sooner if the weather is nice. I may post this up on a few other forums that the team members use (S2k,350z,Cobalt, Tiburon and so on) If everything works out...who knows, it may start a big annual meet with alot of different people and cars. I wouldnt mind setting up a few big meets in the summer. Between the 7 or 8 forums, it may attract a huge crowd. Maybe big enough to rent a spot and hold car shows. Let me know what you all think.

Here is the info i have planned this far:
-Date: July 10th / 2010 (Saturday)
-Timeline:
--All drivers meet in Eugene at 9am(Eat before, on the way, or at meet spot), meet can take place at a store/restaurant/lot. Someone help me out on a good meeting location there.
--Leave meeting spot at 10am, giving everyone an hour to arrive, meet everyone, and check out the cars.
--Cruise to Beaverton. I think a great lunch place would be Pho Van, its a Vietnamese restaurant in Beaverton, has awesome food, and its not expensive, easy to get too, and plenty of parking. We would arrive about 12:30pm.
--Giving a hour and a half for eating time, lunch would be done around 2pm. That gives us about 3 hours to do whatever everyone votes on doing. Maybe PIR? There should be plenty of events around the area.
--Leave Portland at 5pm and cruise to Lincoln City
--Arrive at Mo's Restaurant in Lincoln City at 7pm. Eat dinner, and enjoy the beach (hopefully the weather will be nice)
--Depart at around 10pm (Possibly after party if majority is up to it, location TBA or can be decided at dinner) Lincoln City is in right about the middle between PDX and Eugene so its a good ending location.
-Total Distance: ~215mi (~4 Hours of actual driving time, not including drive to Eugene, and drive back home)
-Estimate of money needed:
---Lunch : $10/Person
---Dinner: $20/Person
---Gas: $30-$50 (1 Tank)
---Misc. Spending Money: $??.??
-Standard routes would be to use I5, but if everyone wants we could use alternated routes, ex: 99E from Portland to Lincoln City, it will take longer, but provides a more scenic route.
-Obviously alot can change and there is some more fine tuning that will be done, but its several months away. That is the general plan. Any suggestions welcome, I picked the restaurants because i know they are places alot of people like. Plenty of time to get things to make everyone happy.
