For those non-Mac users, O&O Software is giving away licenses for their previous edition Defragment program. It's one of my personal favorite defragment programs. It works really slick and has a lot of nice features. It's fairly fast, and does a nice job....AND because the one that comes with Windows is garbage...

They are on Version 12 now. This is version 11 , so it's a pretty recent release for free.

Personal Software Inspector: Available Here

This program works in the background to check all of your programs and will notify you when a secutity patch is available - keeping you up-to-date.


The second is Revo Uninstaller: Available Here

This one is an excellent uninstaller - it not only uninstalls the program, but it also removes all of the garbage left behind in the registry.

Both of these work with Windows 7.
