Can we drive the car stock or do we need an after market roll bar?

 

Thunderhill - a 2 day event last July with Proformance Race School.

 

You can drive the car with the OEM roll hoops for certain at the Alfa Romeo and PCA events.

The Audi Club requires a roll bar with 2" of clearance to your helmet and at least a 4 point harness.

I am not sure what the rules are for the MotoCorsa Lotus event.

 

Alan's right about the PCA, Alfa, and Audi. Lotus of Portland will allow stock S2K's to run with the stock rollhoops.

Alan: T8? T10? Was this event pretty recent - a month or so ago? If so, was my friend, Andy, there in his black GT-3 with his son?

CB - The event was in late July and The shot was from turn 10. While there were a bunch of Pcars present, I do not recall a black GT-3.

 

NOTICE: the Lotus of Portland event on Wednesday, 10/18, has very few folks currently signed up. If you're looking for a lot of track time with very little traffic, this one's worth doing.

I just got a new Sparco Modena seat installed in my car (after a lot of fitment issues) along with a 6 point Schroth Hybrid III harness so I have new learning experiences ahead with new toys and a whole bunch of track days lined for the occasion
