This topic has come up several times over the past several months. I think it is time we set a date. So the date is the weekend after the Crater Lake drive, Sunday, Aug 3. I think this should give enough time to choose and get your items before the install date.

We have pleanty of people in the group who have installed audio items into their cars and hopefully those with the experiance will be willing to help those that would like some help and learn.

This is the chance to get some help putting in that new head unit you wanted that will allow you to plug in your ipod, or play mp3's?

Maybe you want to put in some new speakers for a little better sound or install some sound deading material in the doors, but taking the door panels off is a little scary to you?

This electronics install day will concentrate on audio, such as Head Units and speakers. We will demonstrate how to safely remove the door panels and radio door. We will also be there to help you answer questions and assist with your install.

Also post if you know you want something, but do not know what to get or where to get it, we can help you with getting your parts prior to the install day.

Location will be at Amy's house. Directions will be sent to those that are joining.

We should do a pot luck like we did for detail day.

Sorry, August 2nd is the day of the derby race for Winners On Wheels (Portland 4 to 17 year olds in wheelchairs). I volunteer for this every year and can't miss it. I'll have to wait till next time.

Since I know that Amy had mentioned some interest in this before, should we consider another date before too many others pencil it in?? Just a thought....

Also, Geoff is the Commercial Sales Manager at the Gateway Car Toys....so if anyone has any questions about products and pricing, I'm sure he would be more than willing to help. Just PM us if you want him to call you or want his number so you can call him.

Geoff just talked with Garret and we are both in on this one. Geoff wanted me to apologize for not getting back to a few phone calls and PM's but he has been swamped with Car Toys Tent Sale stuff all week.

He said that he will be very busy at the sale all 4 days but would be more than willing to hook you all up with his wholesale discount if you can make it into the store after this weekend.
