Default Used Espelir springs?

I had someone offer to sell me their used Espelir srings for $160 including shipping. Is it a good idea to buy used springs or should I just hold out and try to find new??

Thanks for your input,

Brandon

Nothing wrong with used springs normally. If they have low miles. Ask how long they were used for. Especially under 10k, no problem.
But like always, offer less. I sold my used Eibachs with low miles for $120.

The guy said they have only been used for 5 months. He was not sure how many miles on them. What is a new set cost? Is $160 still a good deal or should is he trying to ROB me of my hard earned money?

I think you can get a new set for around 200 shipped (maybe 220) from evolution...

I would offer him $140 shipped (and maybe go up to $150)

Hell I'd offer $120 and go up to $140.
More will come around. They are used, period.. Bye bye at least 30% ($60 if they are $200!!!!).

Don't have that attitude! Convince yourself "if this mafugga doesnt drop the price, I'll wait for another set", NOT "man I hope I don't have to pay XXX amount for these".
If you don't think the price is right, wait. Springs come around all the time. And personally, I think Tein S-Tech, Eibach, Skunk2, and Espiler are damn near the same... As long as they're progressive (spring rates increase as they compress). So don't sell yourself short of hard earned money for these now. But, if you think the extra $20 is worth the wait (as it damn well may be), go for it! In the end, you'll be too happy when they're installed to remember what you paid for them.
