What's wrong with my paint?

I'm pretty sure it's adhesive from something--a vinyl wrap or 3m paint protection film.
Looks like you'll need to loosen it first before picking it off. Try something like Autoglym's Intensive Tar Remover. I used it when peeling off my windshield tape. Doesn't harm the paint in the slightest.

Ok well I have been out there for about 30 minutes trying to get it off and it's really tough and I don't think it's working 100%. It feels a little be sticky to me. Maybe it also sucks because I just cut my fingernails yesterday so it's hard to scratch it off. Here is an updated pic of it a little bit. It's definitely on top of the paint though.

Oh really? Sweet. They were shaved off when I bought it so I got black ones to put on because I think it looks better than silver or whatever color it came with

I'll try that as well. I ordered some Autoglym's Intensive Tar Remover for cheap that should be here this week. If that doesn't work I'll try what you recommended. Thanks.

Are the CR emblems different than the "black chrome" package emblems?
