So I got ticketed today for too dark of a tint. who has had tints done and how did they turn out?

 

I had mine done (25%) at LeCar when we did a group buy several years ago. I have never gotten a second glance about them by officers either *knocks on wood*

I've taken 2 of my cars to get tinted at a place in Lake Oswego. I can't remember the name exactly but I think it was Absolute Window Tinting, or Advanced Window Tinting. Something along those lines. I didn't take my S there but it was I think $175 for a 4 door car plus rear window. So I'm sure it wouldn't be anything over $50 for the S probably.

 

Yea I was on my way to work near Beaverton Mall, and a Charger got me in front of starbucks drive thru.. I bought the car with 15% and never got crap for it for 2 years. He pulled me over for no front plate and tinted windows. only cited for tints.

 

Junior did his recently at LeCar, they looks good.

 

I can tell you if the tint has been on there for a while, any shop will charge probably the same if not more to remove the tint than to add it.

 

Alexia Tinting in Beaverton did both my cars and did a great job. They also include a warranty.

 

I live close to Alexia's, how much did they charge?

 

I can't remember what I paid to get the S tinted. I had it done back in 2007. What I found is that if they are busy, the price is higher. If they are slack they charge more.

Just give them a call and ask what they charge.
