I prefer it when he doesn't talk, actually...

Are there even any people left in the PDX community?!

Hey Primo,

Maybe you should hit up the Honda dealers and give them a flyer about S2ki to new owners. Maybe start up a taco tuesday related event so the new owners can drop by.

Some of the oldies here should give us a history lesson on how the Seattle crew got started and why people still hang around. Hopefully that can help start up a PDX crew.

Thank you! I think one of my first tasks as CO will be to put on a small scale meet and greet for everyone to meet each other. This will also give me a sense of how many members we currently have and who is willing to participate and help coordinate events/meets with me. This will have to be after the holidays as I know many, including myself, are very busy.

I would also like to make a badge for the Portland group... Are people just making these in photoshop or powerpoint? Or is there a specific method for the board? I have some skills in this dept but would like to ask for submittals from others and then have the group vote for the best.

Thanks again to those who encouraged and supported, and I look forward to meeting some of the Portland folks who have been around for a long time.

Congratulations, Primo! Agreed: your first objective should be to set up a get-together of Portland-Vancouver owners (at least those we already know). But I'd also suggest you do a bit of homework to learn what strategies other CO's have used to generate interest in their communities and to leverage their experience. In any case, we're excited to have you take the helm, and I, for one, am happy to lend a hand if you need one.

Best,
CB
