Default Am I looking for a Unicorn?

I have been looking for an AP1 to buy for almost the past year. Am I looking for a S2K that just isn't really out there anymore?

I want a preferably 2003 AP1 with under 80k with a clean title from a non sketch dealer that's not suzuka blue lol. I'm thinking that is a unicorn after my search.

The one or two that meet those requirements that I have seen in Florida have been snatched up lightning fast. Should I just get faster or plan to buy higher mileage one and plan to do a little more work?

Maybe... But from what I know of mine, (110K) mileage really isn't a big factor IF proper care and maintenance have been given...

I check Craigslist every weekend for certain parts for my DD and I check S2ks just to see if there's any good parts for sale on cars listed for sale.

I saw plenty of 2003s with under 80k for sale within the last year, including a really nice 2003 GPW with under 50k miles for $16k.

Check www.autotrader.com too.

Whats the max you're looking to spend?

That is a good deal, but sound like a salvage title to me. Is that on craigslist in Florida?

What's special about a 2003 car? Just curious, not a challenge. 2002 and 2003 are nearly if not identical as Honda only made upgrades every second model year.

It took me, my dad, and a friend to check out 17 (yes, 17!) of them from FL up to NJ before I found "the one." Be patient; the right one will come!
