Default Audi technician

So its official... I signed papers today, I start work at Classic Audi on April 8th as a technician. Had to drop the valet job, they're leaving me on as "on-call" so I can pick up some shifts if need be and not burn that bridge. Going to battle Disney in the morning to try and make both jobs work. Hopefully I can become seasonal and retain my free tickets (I mean thats all I really want)

At my last dealer I was able to bring in other S2k's for alignments and tires as long as they are willing to pay the going rate for an Audi. Once I know the rate and if I'll be able to provide this service to everyone I will be sure to post it up. I mean, who better to do your alignments then a fellow OCD S2K owner?

This also means going to WTD may not happen. Money is beyond tight right now but I'm starting off as flat rate with a guarantee for the first month, so if hours are good I'll buy new tires and leave after work on that Friday

Question: I need to move my 5' x 3' tool box to work, I'm willing to spend the money to have it done. Does anyone have a flat bed trailer capable of 2000lbs or so and a free afternoon? or know a company that could provided this service?

I might have a trailer for use. When would you need it (the 8th or after)?

Congrats on the job, nothing like having a job in the field you want to be in.

Catch is there is no way to lift the box with all the tools, or even some of them, into the back of a truck. It's just to heavy. I can use one if the lifts at work to get it out with all the tools in.

Right now it's looking like I'm going to be taking speedy up on his offer to provide a truck and some help. I'd rather give $ to a member than a moving company!

If I was closer I could help you with the tool box as I've help a few other techs move theirs. I have access to a trailer with a hand winch at one end and a great ramp.

Congrats on the job ... good technicians are a real commodity
