Crap
so last night after leaving the downtown area, i say to myself "well it's cold, but not THAT cold" so with that said, i go to put the top down. Mind you now she's been sitting outside for about 3hours. So i hop inside, start the car, and unfold the latches and hit the roof switch. and as it almost folds down all the way, i hear *crack*. i knew what it was RIGHT away, i couldn't even get upset. for the most part i'm not as upset as i thought i would be, maybe its the Christmas season
SOOO, my question is, what are the steps i need to follow in order to get it repaired or replaced. i doubt i can get a *new* plastic window. and also new top is required, is there anyone in the central Florida area that would be able to install it for me w/o an astronomical price?

Replacement here this should fix the problem

but nah dude, i love the softtop, i just think i need a glass window now
For a great fitment, I'd go oem
Then again, if you wanted the top down last night, forget it.
Forgive my unoriginal and worthless reply. I am just trying to entertain myself at work on Christmas Eve.
I think I remember Willie Gee having a recommendation on soft tops.
Good Luck,
Thraak

Ok, here is a possible and less expensive fix. Take the car to someone that does marine canvas work. On my boat there are plastic windows in the dodger that need and are replaced from time to time. There is little difference between your window and these panels. So they might be able to help you.

I just moved to this area about 3 years ago and can not vouch for anyone here. I am sending my canvas back to Annapolis Md to be refurbished when the time comes.
However, a quick search of this area gave the following:
http://ateammarine.webs.com/
Karen's Canvas did a great job replacing zippers at a very reasonible price. She also installs plastic windows in canvas.

The best thing is to ask around and look at their work
Good luck, Rich
