WHATCHU TALKIN' 'BOUT WILLIS?
You are so incorrect. I got my California beaches mixed up. It was Laguna Blue Pearl. You have to forgive us vintage owners. Sometimes we even forget to take our Geritol. I been away too long. I got my blues confused. Personally, Suzuka Blue has always been my favorite!!! It was the evening of Aug. 31st, 2005 when I sent out an email to all Florida dealers that I wanted a Suzuka Blue or NFR within 12 hours for $32,250 out the door, (tax, tag & title included). A Gainesville dealership was the only one that would meet that price as long as I picked it up by noon on Sept. 1st....... I did & we've been happy ever since.

...Now where's that dame with my Sarsaparilla?

It sure does seem steep but I think that oem hardtops in mint condition are going for around $3500. Seven years ago, when they were readily available, I paid about $2800 for mine. It all boils down to supply and demand. If I were in the market for a quality oem hardtop, I'd pay $3200 - $3500 if it was in mint condition. Price also dependent if it was needed to be painted to color match.
