its a long story man, but I am not supporting that meet.
Josh........

Your comments concern me deeply. I have always respected your involvement with this Community. However, your recent posts demonstrate reservations as to an ability to keep personal matters apart from your responsibility as a Community Organizer.

When I reflect on the roles, responsibilities and what I recognize as a Community Organizer, I expect the following:

A). An individual who is recognized immediately as a Leader. In fact, if a person was asked about the "new" CO appointment of a particular person, everyone (including me) should be saying ...." I thought that he was one already".

B). Someone who promotes UNITY. This individual should have the aptitude to increase awareness of the car, the company, and most importantly......the family of friends that own (or want to own) this car.

C). A responsibility to enhance the Community in Events that supplement, cultivate and hasten the awareness of belonging to this special group of friends. Creating a desire to part of this organization is the nucleus of wanting to serve in this capacity. In fact, this position is not one of Authority, rather it is a position of ministering to the needs of the Community.

D). The capability to differentiate opinions versus facts. This trait is necessary to keep focus on the Core Values of this Community. From time to time, it will become necessary to play the role of "Daddy". But, these need to be held in reserve and exercised only in the most extreme situations where the entire integrity of the Community is in jeopardy. Insight and Maturity is a must !!

Since you have made the decision to make public commentaries to not support the highly anticipated Florida Supermeet for 2010, I will ask that you likewise publically state what are the factors that allow you to dissuade the remainder of us in the Community to follow your Leadership decision to do the same. Perhaps you know something that we as a Community need to be made aware of. We look to your Leadership values to keep us from venturing off on some track that would harm us personally, or protect us from a venue that would endanger the Community as a whole.

Otherwise, I will ask that you closely review the criteria that is listed above and reconsider whether or not you want to continue in this special and privileged position. It is an incredible opportunity to serve the needs of the Community and hope that you never lose sight of this weighty responsibility and always treasure the accountability that is associated with this task.

However, to be sure, if you have a personal observation that will not allow you to support this venue, I have absolutely no problem with this at all, as long as it is on a personal agenda. Keep your observations and opinions private. Nevertheless, when you go online and make public statements as to what are your personal preferences, you open up yourself to scrutiny and the demands of the people that are suppose to serve. But, when you state the comments as you did, this is reckless, and influences others who do not share your personal views.

My friends in Orlando deserve a person who will direct them with insight, integrity and maturity. The State of Florida as well as the entire Worldwide S2KI Community, and most importantly ......Me-Myself...... must have confidence that those in a titled position of Community Organizer, do just that ....ORGANIZE....and SERVE.

We eagerly await you response..........................

So the numerous weekly events that Josh has put on are meaningless? Nevermind the tech days, in which Josh has donated his time and effort. What about the autocross events he has assisted--as a driver and as an instructor? Are they meaningless as well?

You are remembered for the shitty things you do...not the great things. How is he high and mighty enough to hold these weekly events, yet bitch others out because he doesn't agree with an event name or location.

Sounds like a jealous toddler to me....my way or not at all.

David,

Point Taken.....but, I never stated that what Josh has accomplished, has not been appreciated. I belive that I state this clearly in my original sentence of my posting. Without doubt, he has been very fruitful in his role. But, please keep in the forefront, the issue at hand.

It is his recent postings regarding the Florida Supermeet, the issue at hand, and a distraction from his Core responsibilities. All I ask (and I belive from the comments from the OP) is that he clarifies what are the reservations that he has as a Community Organizer to differ prople away from this event. As a paying member of S2KI, I deserve to hear from him.

* Now, let's stick to the facts and let him answer to the matter as if needs anyone else to retort for him.

If anybody wants to buy ap2 wheels let me know. Not sure if they are v1s or v2s. I will let you know as soon as find out.

Is it breaking a rule for trying to sell items on threads that have nothing to do with that item?

jk
s'not breaking the rules, but it is irrelevant to this thread. there is a FL FS section.

judging by your info they will be ap2v2's. you appear to be fairly new, so we'll let you slide.....this time....
