So, it's been about 6 months since I got the BMW. And of course that means it's time to get rid of it for a new project. Traded a guy here in Orlando the BMW for his 1988 Toyota MR2. Supercharged, T-Tops, 5-Speed. All that good stuff. We've been working out the deal for about 2 weeks now, and I finally got to drive the car home this morning. It needs some little stuff here and there, but it drives real well. It's fairly quick too.







I'll be bringing it out to the meet soon. Won't make it this week because I have friends coming into town and I'm going to entertain them with a trip downtown. But next week...

Is it the same color as the Passat?

 

Haha, pretty much. The Toyota paint has loads more pearl in it, but it's faded in some spots. Could really use a re-spray down the road.

Haha, I gotta finish painting the 19's, roll the fenders, and drop it another inch. Then it'll be real sick...til I get it stuck on a speed bump.

 

Scott lets do the honorable thing to that passat and burn it, get the insurance claim and build the **** out of that MR2 and probably finish the BMW if you still have it lol

I had a 93 MR2 turbo and that was a fantastic car.
