Default Lift Inspection

Good Morning all! Just a quick update for those who care.

It is so nice having a friend a few blocks away with a kick ass,2 story, man cave, with a lift to do a complete inspection of the new car. Thank You Rodney!

Overall the condition of the 04/yellow/112k,S2K,is very good mechanically. The full exhaust is high and tight, koilovers correctly installed and no leaks,no seepage from motor, tranny,or transaxle. It does have a bad passenger side axle boot which is throwing a little grey grease on the underbody. Had to trim plastic wheel well to properly fit and secure AEM intake. I can tell the car was near salt air some time during it's lifetime due to the powdery white oxidation on the aluminium parts. Control arms and other non painted metal parts have light surface rust but can be repaired.

Very happy with the findings so far.Still alot of tinkering to do! I need a good car meet to do some stare and compare evaluations. Come on Dec 1st! Have a great weekend everybody and remember to go topless as often as possible!

Ahhh you gotta love the excitement of a new proud poppa! For most of us the excitement never ends. It's nice to see the Orlando community getting back together. Hopefully it will grow to what it once was! Glad to hear everything looked good from below. We'll see you in Oviedo and who knows.....maybe we'll have to sticker 'em up for St. Pete in March!
