Default New guy...looking for an S2000 FS

Hello to all...

I have been lurking on the site for a while, but this is my first time posting. I just finished up a lease on a 2006 Toyota Tundra and am looking for an S2000 to replace it. My company provides a vehicle for me, so the S would not be a daily. I also have a 1993 Mazda Miata in the garage, so I am no stranger to rwd roadsters. I purchased my Miata by posting on a Miata forum based in Tampa Bay, so I figured I would give it a shot here. Let me know if you see any for sale locally that look like a good deal...I am looking for the best low mileage example I can find for 16-19k. Thanks in advance!

there was a Black AP2 for sale in South Florida. I think the sellers handle was 'Starbai'. It looked to be a good car for a great price.

I saw the black one...pretty sure it was south Florida...looked like a good deal and definitely in the price range. Black is not my first choice...too much of a pain to keep clean. Thanks for the heads up though!

don't be afraid of the dealerships right now. Even they are hungry and looking to unload inventory of hard-to-sell cars (S2000's).

Paha Koira got a great deal on a Suzuka Blue one in Gainesville just a couple of weeks ago. I think it was an 05 with less than 30k miles on it and was nearly HALF the price of a new one!

we have a suzuka, a red one, and black one all ap2's here at my dealership in winterhaven, we are a brand new dealer though so our sales team seems to be pretty proud of them haha, even tough they are having a hard ass time selling them. i almost bought the suzuka but didn't and then the people that did put a dent in the fender and blamed it on us, i know it wasn't there when i was looking to buy it. and they just nit picked the hell out of the thing and ended up bringing it back 2 weeks after they bought it.

what color are you looking for?

NFR is at the top of my list...then GPW, then either silver color. Barring a good deal on anything in those colors, I would consider a black one, just don't want the hassle of keeping another black car looking good. PM me some info about the cars at your dealership and some contact info...I have a couple of local dealerships that are finding S2000s for me right now...definitely interested to see what your dealership has to offer...

Aww, you're not driving it daily, so it shouldn't be so hard to keep clean.

You ARE planning on taking care of this car RIGHT?!

It's not a Miata now...

And keep your eyes on craigslist. Use crazedlist.org and spread a net as far as you're willing to travel and then some. I drove to Jacksonville and bought a near mint '04 with only 17k miles on it for only $15k last month!

Of course it will be well taken care of, and garage kept, so black certainly isn't out of the question, just not my first choice. Nice score on your '04...thats a hell of deal. I have been watching the FS listings in Florida for a while, and am certainly not opposed to a little travel for a great deal. I just spoke with Ron from xupthree60's dealership...will definitely be checking out your dealership early next week!

Good Deal, a little over a month ago I drove to West Palm to get a Berlina with 12k miles, still smelled new for $15k as well, couldn't believe it
