I don't know how many old-timers are still active here. But at any rate, I was cleaning my apartment this morning and came across some old DV tapes. Lo and behold, one of them contained some track day footage from 2006-2008. Figured I would share with you all.

I miss my S2000, and all the awesome owners I met on here.

 

Course looks fun in that config- when was this taken? New management is not interested in getting back to the s2ki crew, could be fun.

 

If I recall correctly, this was shot back in 2007. I always loved Gainesville for being a cheap, fun course. Small with fairly tight turns that's a lot of fun with an S.

I know it changed management a few years back. The new folks seemed good at first, but I guess they just stopped caring so much as time went by. It's a real shame, because it's a great jumping off point between doing autocross and getting into serious HPDE's. Plus it was way cheaper than events at Sebring and Road Atlanta at the time.

yea they were cheap we did one with the s2k guys back in like 08 for about 90 bucks a person for the day
