Do you guys find it a bit fishy that the same guy would have a pair of black seats and a pair of red seats for sale at the same time? Both "like new"?

i agree gotta be stolen. who in their right mind would sell s2000 seats for 400 bucks? soon as i get my new seats i'm selling mine for no less then 2500 lol

seeing as its about 5 grand from the dealer not including assembly its a steal lol most likely i'll just have them up for a month at 2500 then sell at obo

 

They will not sell for that much. If you really think you can even get a grand for them then you are out of touch with reality.

 

Too easy to steal and install in a civic.

Has anyone ever followed up on one of these Craigslist or ebay listings? Would be curious to know if anyone has contacted this person.... I'm thinking of taking a shot at these seats just to see what they are about... $400 ain't chump change, at least for me but it might be a good investment to see what they are all about and, what the hell, I could always sell them. Ads like these stink worse than last week's catch of the day...

If I have the time and can shake this flu bug I may put my money where my mouth is and check these seats out... I suspect I will bring somone along with me to watch my back...

 

I tried as soon as I saw this and tried again today. Got a "Sold!" text message.

I was about to ask him what color S2k he stole them from, but my girlfriend talked me out of it.

that's his tamparacing name... i just got that from a google search, im sure there is people on here with the ability to find out more, and eventually get a name and address we can send to the police.

if the police do nothing than we just plaster all his info and the fact that he is selling stolen merchandise around all the local car sites that might be enough to at least slow him down.

if we do this to every jack ass that tries this than it wont hurt.
