Hey everyone, I need to replace my soft top as the back vinyl is destroyed and Florida rains like crazy. I'm going to get a Robbins top but I was wondering where I could get the swap done and how much the labor would cost? Also, how long would it be in the shop? I'm trying to keep the cost down as much as possible and will most likely end up replacing the top myself. I want to see what the price is before I take on the weekend long project though. Thanks!
Amateur S2000 roof replacements are fraught with installation problems resulting in leaks including water in the trunk every time it rains or you wash the car. Expert, specifically S2000 expert, installation is highly recommended. You gotta pay for the expertise. $500 for this is not unreasonable. True expert, someone who's done dozens if not hundreds of S2000 roofs and has all the tools can do this literally in a couple of hours. (We watched @2poor2mod do 4 on a Saturday but he's up in NJ.) Guys reading the instructions and searching for tools and special supplies can take a weekend.
But if you do it yourself let us know how it worked out in a couple months.

they have a YouTube channel. He’s in Florida
No longer Miller's Miata, it's now Stone Auto Works. The number hasn't changed but here's a link to their https://www.facebook.com/stoneautoworks
Labor was $750 and took around three and a half hour start to finish. Extremely satisfied with the result. Miller does convertible tops all the time and he's done plenty of s2000s. Highly recommend, it was well worth the drive there. It down-poured on my way home and both my interior and trunk were nice and dry.
