Smile stolen seats

So I woke up today, 05/21/2008, and my top was slashed and seats are gone. both doors were left open. I can't tell if anything else was taken, but I'm waiting for the police right now. The seats are out of a 2006 S2000 Suzuka Blue. Seats of course are suzuka blue with the speakers in the headrest area. Please keep a look out and any info would be helpful.

Location: East Orlando/UCF Area. 1:00am-5:00am.

I went out last night to put my car in the garage and noticed at the entrance to my street 2 civic hatches, slammed, with 2 people in each one. There was a red one and a white one. I put the car in the garage, got the dog, and started to walk towards them. They both turned around and left the neighborhood at the same time, but were quick enough to where I couldn't get their tag numbers. I'm pretty convinced they were plotting a heist of my seats, or who knows what else.

Sorry you got hit. As many times as this has happened in Orlando, none of us should be parking outside overnight if at all possible.

I have an alarm in mine and it is outside overnight . I have woken up a couple times to hand prints on the drivers window from someone looking into the car . It has not been cut into though since I have an alarm they do not want to risk getting shot from setting the alarm off .

sorry to hear the bad news man. id like to find out how seat thetfs relate to state the economy. high cost of gas/food/living, etc means no money to mod the hatchback=more seat thefts? might give some insight as to when you should be on hightened lookout. ive heard a surge of seat thefts/attempted thefts in the last 6 months and my top got cut for the first time last weekend. i guess if you have a garage, park in it all the time.

Not the economy. The fault lies on the individuals making that choice when there are enough jobs in orlando to buy your own. It may not be the job you want or the pay but lets not blame anyone else. I wasnt afraid to work 2 jobs to buy things here and there. Just cuz (thank God) i dont have to right now doesnt give some punk @$$hole the right to steal. There is no surge. It is now common knowledge on the value of the seats and the ease to remove them (thanks to news reports) so the same kids stealing accords ,integras and civics and stuff now help themselves to another commodity. Most these kids still live with mom and dad most likely just do do it cuz their parents didnt whoop their @$$ when they shouldve.. but dont worry when i catch one messing with mine Im gonna take over where their momma didnt..

p.s sorry about the seats... i know how that feels and its a bummer (i chose to pay out of pocket for mine not knowing how expensive they are)
