Default Tires

Any suggestions on new tires. I am not too concerned about the price. I want good tires with low noise. Help me. I would also like suggestions on sizes. I would like to go a bit larger but I don't want to change the geometry too much.

I drive it mostly on the roads but I do go up to Roebling Road from time to time.

here is a list compiled from tirerack. 19 of the best tires you can get right now.

the consensus says star specs but we'll leave it up to you to make your own decision. the top 4 at the list are very similar with little differences.

also check out the wheel and tire section for more information.

here is the link though

Tire Rack

hope this helps and GL with your journey

Star Specs are nice and sticky, but are definitely NOT a low noise tire.

Those Continental Contisport extreme DWs are nice. I just put a set on my TC. They are not as quick with the turn in, but do offer a high mileage rating, and have these cool wear meters on the tire tread. They were not a bad price either. Wet traction is very good too. Noise is low.

About a month ago I put Hankook Evo V12's on mine up sized to 225 45 front 255 40 back so far they aren't noisy, good in the rain, and handle great. $600. and some change at Discount Tire great price too. If you are lowered the 225 on the front will rub the tabs on the fender liner on tight corners. I'm going to roll my front fenders soon I'm tired of having to go to Honda and buy new tabs for the fender liners.

I have star specs and I love them. As for the noise, I cant say I have heard any from them yet.
