Where to get serviced?
The S2000 (MY04, 5500 miles only) probably needs another oil change, and after almost 5 years, could probably do with some new trans fluid and rear diff fluid. Where is the best place to have this done? I'd prefer a Honda dealer, but I'm open to ideas. Does anyone on here perform routine matenience on their cars?
Also, my soft top closes very tightly from just the lifting mechanism, so tight that the latches aren't actually doing anything, and the soft top is starting to rattle. I'd like to have this adjusted, any thoughts on who/where to have that done? I know there is a TSB out on this problem, just not sure if they will cover it out of warranty.
Thanks

I'm going over to Speedy's place most likely Friday and doing it then. Why not attempt to do the fluid changes yourself?

it really isn't tough to do. and really hard to screw up ... unless you're like me and forget to tighten the oil drain plug

and this after doing several THOUSAND oil changes on Hondas ... figures
I guess I could think about it, would probably save a lot of money. Is there a how to anywhere? Engine oil I can handle, but diff and tranny may need some instructions. Maybe I'll attempt on Friday.

Meh, I just found both How-To's and it doesn't look very difficult. I may attempt myself on Friday, we'll see. Any thoughts on the soft top adjustment?

Is the rattle coming from the latch mechanism itself, or is it from the plastic cover that is on the latch?
If it's the plastic cover rattling, all you need to do is push some foam, or you could even squirt a little silicone, down in between the plastic cover and the metal body of the latch itself.
