Default Yay, new wheels got here!

Woo Hoo! My CCW Wheels finally arrived!

Now i can get crackin on the rest of the project. After physically measuring, i'll be having the front flares extend out 2.5", and the rear flares will extend out 1.25"

holy crap... you should stretch some narrow tires on those wheels and run with the HOT KARL guys hah

is it just me or are the fronts wider than the rear? and are you using spacers or is that bolted straight on

Its just you.... sorta.

THe front and rear wheels are all 18x11, with an 8.5" backspacing... the front suspension won't take an 8.5" backspacing, because the wheel will hit things... so, there is a hefty wheel space bewteen the wheel and the hub to push it out a bit so it'll clear everything.... but the front and rear track width were never equal on the S2k, but with this setup, the front and rear widths are closer to being equal.

I gotcha. Also, I noticed the front wheel looks a little more protruded since the front of the car tapers in slightly. What's the status on your custom fender flares? Any progress

I've been waiting on the wheels to get here before i poured any foam... that process will begin tomorrow sometime.... Gotta get that OTHER little yellow turd out of the way first though hahah!
