I was probably the black one on Laurier. I'm in that neighbourhood. Middle-aged driver, salt and pepper hair, and the stereo turned up too loud with classical or blues. You can't miss me.

s2k's are the new civic

 

You ain't kidding. Plus 7 years as being on the market there sure are more of them than 4-5 years ago!

 

They've been around for a while, but they've been owned by people that had them for Sunday drivers. I'm guessing the all the ones popping up now are second owners and young'ins. Don't see 2006+ in the sigs.

 

Red AP1 with 2 guys in it at Merivale and Baseline at 3.30pm on Sat. Is that anyone on this group?

I seem to be seeing s2ks everywhere lately. Of course this is relative -- I see scores of Miatas for every S2K on the road. Perhaps it is a bit much for us to be saying that these are like Civics, so I withdraw that remark. We are still pretty scarce if I'm feeling like it is a big deal when I encounter a fellow S2K owner. 4 in one day was really exceptional, but I do have to say that I'm seeing at least a couple every week now, and am beginning to feel disappointed if a day goes by without an encounter. Usually it is with the snob in the silverstone one who never waves back.

 

The one on Merivale and Baseline could be Andrew (gropos).
