Default F1 in High Def!

According to my PVR the F1 race is in High Def! I'll be recording and watching it later in the afternoon on Sunday if anyone is interested.

dunno man....the feed that CBS will be getting is from the FIA telecast ie. they won't have their own cameras there.

Not sure how HD works, but don't they need HD cameras to broadcast in HD?

Most camera's are now, and Europe is WAY ahead of us in HD. Not all shows on the HD channel are HD but if they say "Autoracing (HD)" with the HD in brackets that usually means it is.

All their races this season have been broadcast on HD. I know for sure the TSN coverage does, and I find them alot better than Speed channel, 'cause they use the ITV commentators from England(they also have pit access during the race).
All the cameras are F1 media cameras, it's Bernie Eccelstones way of controlling his empire, and no one network can broadcast with their own cameras, have to use F1 feed.

Didnt know CBS broadcast F1.
