Stupid Honda Gas cap

Stupid Lowering

What a pain that was.

Went to Bourke's they couldn't do the safety because the car was too low, so they did the e-test, it failed the gas cap so they sold me a new one and told me I would get my money back at Honda.

They sent me to the westboro Bourke's for the safety where the car BARELY fit, the underrails rubbed on the hoist but it made it. Passed safety, got screwed, they charged $90 for a safety! Honda charges $59.95

Then went to Honda and they wouldn't give me money back so I had to go back to Bourke's get my money back and get a new cap from free from Honda.

Now just waiting for Honda to send the papers!

Apparently they stick it on a machine and it has to pass a seal test or something. It didn't. The guy said all Honda's after '00 do that. Mine was fine last year though.

good we should get together sometime in the Corel Centre Parking lots and you can do donuts on the pavement and get agood smoke show going!

Probably not a good idea. Big Brother is at the Corel Center, the security actually monitors the parking lots....

Better make a lot of smoke so plates are obscured!

 

wow ! that's surprising for any Honda vehicle to not have passed e-test.. don't they pride themselves with that ? very weird, as my dad's old 1998 boat clunker cadillac passed no probs..

 

I sounds like just a loose gas cap. That's not tailpipe emissions.
