Question Rollbar Build Progress

My car was driven away yesterday to get hacked up It's been losing stock parts for the last two years, but this is the first one that's going to be visually obvious. The bar is going to be welded in, and all that rear cockpit trim and stock rollbars is gone. Here is the progress after day 1.

Before

Car is naked

Clearance

After

There is a chance that the car won't be done for Sunday's autocross. So, James co-drive available?

Let's see if that fixed it.

Sucks not having real web serving. Using the stuff the ISP gives you is really restricting. The links worked for me when I'm logged in.

Pics work now... Are the panels going back in after all the bars are welded? Modified panels of course.

Sure you can drive my car if you need to Steve that's not a problem. It is tuned just right for you as it seems to be a bit tail happy right now.

Is it custom?

It is a custom bar. So at the time of the pictures, the hoop wasn't welded in yet and had some trimming to be done on the height. It is "easy" to put in a Solo1 compliant bar when the stock rollhoops, glovebox and rear trim is removed. Will end up being cheaper than buying a bolt in bar and having it installed.

I don't really know what I'm going to do with the rear interior parts. I do want to close off the trunk from the cabin, but that will probably require some custom panels. Probably going to mount the datalogger back there and theoretically I could put in a custom speaker mount on the bar (which I'm not).

There's a picture of the bar with the top open and closed. How do you figure?
