if they ever have to face the leafs int eh playoffs, they'll lose.

the sens are an awesome team (as evidenced by their spectacular regular season finishes in the past 5 years)....but they just don't have the mental fortitude to get it done in the playoffs...

 

I agree, dominate regular season, then fall apart. I like to think the leafs are pacing themselves.

That's always the arguement this year is a different team and a different coach.

 

The leafs suck pretty bad now! The new rule changes are killing them! Tonight the Sens are going to wax them!

true ....very true, but it doesn't even look like the Leafs are even going to make the playoffs the way this season is going!

 

The sens have a better roster than they did a few years back when they went to 7 games with NJ in the conference finals. They now have Hasek which is a HUGE step up from Lalime.
They are now a tougher more physical team with the coaching style of Bryan Murray.
I think Ottawa has what it takes to win but so do a few other teams. (Philly, Detroit, Carolina (maybe), Calgary and TB)
We'll see.
I'm a huge Sens fan and would love to see it happen but like what posted above, they need to win 16 games in the playoffs to make it happen.
