Default The sleeper has awakened!

Couldn't stand it anymore. Strapped on my wheels and took my car off the jacks today and did the preflight check. Car started without a hitch, did seem a little groggy though. Drove around the neighbourhood for 10 minutes.

Geez, it's like I have to learn to drive again compared to the Integra with snow tires. It is confirmed, I still love my car! Heel 'n toe is so much easier. Well got that done just before the snow. Now I will disregard all bogus weather forcasts for snow.....

Yeah, it's that time of year when the forcast changes every day. Wouldn't be surprised if its 10 degrees and sunny this weekend.

Tell me what you think about Speedstar. Wondering if it is worth it compared to mail order from the US.

Well for this year I've got a Solo 1 rollbar (probably custom), race buckets w/ seat rails, 6 pt harness and maybe some wheels w/ more R-compounds on the shopping list.

What I really want to do is find some seat samples that I can sit in. Can't find any shop that has any stock. Which wouldn't matter since they all have rediculous prices, since they just order from a California distributer anyway. I could probably find a deal from someone in the MCO (bunch of amateur racers), but still want to try before buying.

Of course it all depends on the job search. [start shameless plug] you can help and win valuable prizes! Check http://www.stevenfong.net for details. [end shameless plug]
