Convertable rules are a hassle in some of these type of events.

$200-ish +gas+brakes+tires+other wear and tear

more good info in the track section of Jerry's FAQ located above (sticky)

Mike, it'd be sweet if you could list the club website links on each of your "track posts" and Jerry, can you integrate all of Mike's wonderful info in to the track section of your illustrious FAQ sticky?

BTW, I love you guys

I'm only listing the ones that accept stock S2000s.

Links to the websites are in the 2007 Track Info post.

Figure on the real cost of a track day being about $500, including wear and tear on items like tires and brakes. Out of pocket expenses (entry fees, gas) tend to be in the $200-300 range. That's for the "lapping days". The "novice schools" are quite a bit less expensive, both in out-of-pocket and wear items.

The PCA lapping days get a big from me. Too crowded and terrible point-bys. If you are known, trusted and experienced enough by the PCA you may get into the upper skill groups where things aren't so bad, but for a decent driver in the intermediate or lower groups its .

I've never been to the PCA lapping days, actually. I have instructed at the novice days, and I can highly recommend them as a starting place for the track or just a good place to learn some basic skills involved in driving your sports car.
