This was my first use of Harry's GPS Lap Timer, http://web.me.com/hschlangmann/LapTi...page/Home.html

It worked great, only $15 for the full pro version. No reception issues on AT&T and a iPhone 4. It's super easy to use.

It even takes video and overlays time, speed, g-force and track position on the video.

Here are two of my laps:

A steady mount is critical to getting accurate readings. I used a $3 windshield mount from MonoPrice, http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2. It says it's for iPhone 3, but works fine with iPhone 4 also.

MonoPrice is a great site computer and A/V cables and all other sorts of electronic parts and accessories.

I talked to someone from this forum at the PGP on the 4th that was taking pics, I'm the guy with the white Evo. Who ever I talked to said the pics would be posted on here. Did you not get around to posting them up yet or are they in a different forum?

Again, I wish I had thought about monoprice before I bought my mount. Monoprice is a GREAT place to buy any a/v equipment. Especially HDMI cables and tv mounts.

Here is my fastest run... Any suggestions/tips appreciated!

Thanks Jeff/Lig for the ride along!

Use more track pretty much everywhere. Especially exiting T2,3,5,7,and coming on the front straight. If you are not using ALL of the paved surface, you could be carrying more speed. Also have your inside wheel (right side) on the curbing on the first part of the chicane. And be on the inside curbing of the elevation change so that you can get a good run onto the straight. The last two corners make about a 1-2 second difference just on the straight in my car.

Watch some of Jared's videos. He has some of the best lines of anyone in a car. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to go in the dry with the camera in the dry since I started driving what I would consider to be "goodish" lines.
