Default Anyone deal with Hardtopguy?

Just bought some stuff from them just see alot of bad input on receiving stuff! I talked to him on the phone sounds like a really nice guy has anybody here used them and want to throw your input in?

No personal experience but I've seen lots of positive feedback from people in the past that have dealt with him. I believe he runs the website on the side, not as his full time job, and it's more a labor of love than profit so I wouldn't worry until it's merited - I'm sure you'll be taken care of.

I have bought parts from him on multiple occasions, he has always shipped them out.

Last thing I bought from him was diff and tranny fluid sometime in Feburary. shipped it out promptly.

Right now I ordered a new master cylinder from his sister site Rick Case Honda Parts and there is a delay with that order. But that is due to the part being on backorder. He replied promptly to my question when I emailed him.

Wats his email if you know. His sales@rchondaparts email came up as an invalid email?! If you could throw me it much appreciated because I tried calling him for tracking info and couldnt get ahold of him.

Officially Hardtopguy is iffy I cancelled my order and had them destroy my credit card as 1)he decided not to process my order when I gave it to him. 2)as soon as I told him not to process my order after calling, leaving voice mails, and finally getting his number from a local shop and texted and called him in which he texted me back several times until i said i didnt want him to order my stuff and i was sorry and he ceased communications in an awful hurry...big thumbdwn sadly...seemed like a real nice guy too...i think he does this on the side so its alot to keep up on but if you expect honda kind of arrivals and delivery times not here

I hate rubbing businesses in the mud but such a hard business to deal with...hope this will help others who may think to buy from him

I've never had any problems with him. I've ordered from him multiple times. I even emailed him outside of a warranty period for a part that failed and he sold me a new one at cost. He's a good guy, I just think hes incredibly busy. I understand your frustrations if you ordered a large item from him though.

I bought some stuff through him a couple years back and had no problems. Sounds like you were in too much of a hurry or wanted a reason to cancel your order, honestly. I mean, your posts yesterday were over a 5 hour period. I could understand no contact in 5 days, but 5 hours?

I hope people are smart enough to take what you have to say here with a HUGE grain of salt.
