Why would the designated driver want to pay $6 to go at all? Just to hang out? Are the snacks really that good?

If anybody with a supercharged S needs a dd, let me know! I don't drink and you will be too drunk to remember me beating the crap out of your car.

I do drink, but not beer. Nancy never answered the question about what's in it for the DD, though.

OK. First off this is a fundraiser for our organization. The neighborhood center provides meeting space, classes, a computer lab, and many other activities for infants through seniors. We support a soup kitchen, act as fiscal agent for other non - profits, fund area wide improvements such as our sidewalk bench project, street lighting, 4 new area parks and more.

The dd ticket holder gets admission to probably the best party in town as well as soda drinks and snacks - including - but not limited to - artisan bread from the Essential Bakery, spreads made by me, pita and hummus made by the 74th Street Ale House, peanuts, pretzels, chips, salsa, avacado layered dip made by our committe, cookies also made by our committe.

So you see there is lots - even if you don't drink beer
