Broken Headlight Wanted
Hello - does any one in seattle, bellevue, Redmond, Renton etc have a no good smashed AP1 headlight they are going to toss away ?
I want to experiment for a headlight mod on my AP1 and I am looking for the reflective part that sits inside (main beam reflector) - if its in a couple of pieces that doesn't matter either - its just to test something out for fit before I take my own headlights apart.
Also, given that it was crappy weather yesterday - I put on some PSS9's and painted my calipers - I also modded some custom audi side markers and fitted on one side to replace the amber ones. Fidly job - but looks a bit different:
Here is a link to some pics.

Hello - since posting this I managed to do the test I needed on a broken headlamp, now I am looking for a smashed AP1 tail light that someone would normally throw away.
What I am looking to try is to test how feasible a modification is to insert a ring of LED's by cutting into the housing, securing the LED ring and then testing to see if it is bright enough using 5050 LEDs to use as the rear light.
An easy upgrade would be to go AP2, but I quite like the AP1 rear light design.
Once I have all this figured out I will post pics when I do it for real.
