Usually the "Do you know how fast you were going?" question means you just got lucky, and they don't have you on radar. Sometimes they know you were going faster than the radar picked up, and they're hoping you'll give them a higher number. In any case, "I don't know" is always the correct answer.

I frequently drive(VTEC) on that stretch of West Union between Helvetia and Glencoe, since it is pretty rural with light traffic. I never imagined there would be unmarked patrol cars there. Maybe the cops will just ignore my silver S2k, since everyone here thinks they are slower.
Time to deposit more luck/karma into the bank before the next big withdrawal!
