Default CBender: Saying Goodbye

Hi All,

Just a quick note to let you know that I've sold the S2000 -- I've a signed bill of sale and every expectation that the buyer will come through. Not sure yet what I'll get to replace it, but I'm leaning very heavily toward an Elise. It's been fun getting to know many of you over the past few years, and I'm sure our paths will cross at track events in the PacNW, but I likely won't be spending much time on the boards.

Best,
CB

PS: I've got a set of lightly used stock rear rotors for sale for any reasonable price. PM me if you're interested.

Lost, but not forgotten.

Chris, Thanks for all you have contributed to the forum. Many people, have learned many things, from the groundwork you laid.

Thanks for the kind words. There are some great folks on this board, and it's been a pleasure and an honor getting to know some of them.

The brake rotors have sold, by the way, so I've nothing left to sell from the car which has been released to the buyer, so my garage has lots of space in it now...

Color? I like all the silver-gray colors (graphite gray, storm titanium, artic silver) and racing green.

I'd love to say we'll miss you, CB...

So, do I still get a spin in the kart sometime? How 'bout the Elise...?

It don't matter what you drive, you'll always be "cbender".

Getting an Atom would leave me with flappy folds of skin on my neck like the driver for Top Gear magazine....

Sure, Brant, you can drive the kart, but I doubt I'll hand over the keys to the Elise! Seriously, thanks. It's been fun.

CB.

Christopher ....... it's been nice knowing you

What the realistic price on an Elise these days? I wouldn't mind getting one of those, then we can still talk on the Lotus board

Edmunds quotes about $47K for the "sport package" version. I wonder how accurate that is?
