Default Completely OT

I finally hooked up with my buddy in Bozeman who's boss owns a high powered very light Super Cub called the Carbon Cub. The entire interior and many of the exterior panels are CF. The plane weighs 1020 Lbs and has a 220 hp 4 cyl that turns a MAX of 2700 rpm. We took off in about 35 feet.

I don't have the words to describe how awesome a 19 foot take off capable plane is. I'm envious. That thing is awesome.

Wow! That sh!t floats quick when it takes off! You wouldn't need a runway for that, more like a driveway!

It is the Montana version of Bozeman we were in. It was truly one of the most exciting flights I have ever had. Ther is some very cool terrain nortwest of BMan and we were buzzing down fields at about 10 feet and cutting through little saddles where the tops were way above us. Not quite stunt style but if the turn wasn't made at about 80 degrees of bank it wasn't worth making. It was as much fun as going 400 knots at 50 feet, just different.

I had no idea this was even possible... you just got me extremely interested in flying! I went to my local flight school today @ Thun Field to check out their flying programs.
