comptech sc questions
tucluc got lucky, depends on how hard you drive it too. Most of the Comptech settings are too lean, when you have an aftermarket better breathing exhaust you will be even leaner and you need to make the appropriate adjustment to increase fuel pressure to run safe. The right way to do it to insure your afr is correct and that you don't have a ticking time bomb is to get a wideband kit installed to see what your afr is at WOT. AEM makes a really good one, cost typically $250. You will need to have the 02 sensor bung that is supplied with the kit welded to either your TP or collector on your header. When you get this done, I may be willing to offer my help to have it properly tuned for you, it can be done within a few runs and I will explain to you what I am doing so that you can keep it in tune yourself in the future.
Your afr will fluctuate quite a bit depending on the temp from summer/winter so future corrections will need to be made yourself if you want to have an optimum safe tune. Having that wideband is crucial though. You really should have a boost gauge as well, they are handy for troubleshooting/checking belt slip which happens, otherwise your guessing.
