Drunk at work
That's TX for you
When I first moved there in 2001, they were just ending there open container law. They also have the most "drive thru" liquor stores I've ever seen.
They love to drink. Just wait until Friday, when everyone leaves the office at 2pm to get hammered.

I've been to Oklahoma, and I've been to Arizona. My only time in Texas has been spent in the D-FW airport. There are a few National Parks I would like to visit in Texas if I happened to be in the area, but I've never spent any real time there yet. Having experienced both heat and humidity before, and knowing that "glacier" is just a seven-letter word in Texas, I've never really seen any reason to visit. Much less move there.
I've got a fair number of friends who have lived there, and none of them have ever given me a reason to visit either.
I lived away from Puget Sound for six years, and by the time that was over I swore I would never live anywhere that wasn't within a few hours of Mount Rainier again. Personal choice, that's all.
And don't diss John Wayne!
