Dyno Day

As far as I know it is and should be on the dyno day. I will confirm however and let you know. Where is Newcastle? Eastside? I'm planning on leaving around 8 or so to be up there when it begins and help Crescent with what he needs.
I definitely prefer to be one of the first ones on the dyno (along with any other s2ks), so I can leave and be home sooner rather than later
Tentative plan for the Northend people is to meet at Costco and gas up there. We'll leave between 8 and 8:30 and head North. Jawknee, PM me your number or reply here and we can plan to meet up on the way if you'd like.
I was unable to secure a CAI for testing purposes but I did receive my K&N filter to fit over my velocity stack. It also fits inside the stock air box (which surprised me). I'll be able to do a little experimentation I guess. If anyone has any extra intakes, filters etc bring them up and we can try to mix and match stuff to see what works.

There were only 2 of us there, John's AP1 and my AP2. He put down more than I expected for a stocker at 196/13X with nearly 100K on the odo. His car is stock with lighter than stock SSR's on which is good for a few extra ponies on a dynojet.
I put my K&N w/ Vstack on his car and he made 0.6 hp peak more w/ a solid 2 hp in VTEC.
I ended up w/ 203/141 on my AP2 w/ 2000 on the odo. I did a couple of little tests just for the hell of it. I found the K&N does net a couple hp over the stock filter. Taking the filter off w/ just the Vstack made 205/145, but you can't run around w/o a filter.
Also, running with the airbox top on is good for 1 more hp but doesn't sound nearly as cool.
All in all it was an awesome day. We did 27 cars with the most hp coming from an R32 skyline w/ 38X and the lowest from a B16 powered civic. The civic had the highest hp per liter (NA of course) putting down 157/112 to the wheels. Cool car list: 2 S2K's
5 NSX's, Skyline, ITR, several turbo RSX's, MR2, RX7 and some FI VW's.
I wish more of you guys would have come up. I was hoping to be able to compare setups and try more intakes to see what makes power and what doesn't. Oh well, maybe next time.
