Didn't you just mention growing a sac and getting off work at a liveable hour? LOL
Yeah I get off at 3:00 which I would consider very liveable, but that means I have 3 hours to kill in Bellevue before meeting, or drive home and then turn around after 10min and come back again, that's why I am never there. I will be doing tomorrow however.

Isn't that being awfully generous?
Yes it is, but Ray has a thing for strapping young bucks.

Hi Ray miss you

Hey I was at Hectors in Kirkland today for lunch, I like that place... it meets or exceeded the criteria on the list as well (except for a large parking lot) that's where we would be scattered parking where we can find, but that may have to sacrifice in order to get some of the other things on the list. They have great relatively inexpensive food, full bar, outdoor seating and separate conference room set aside for large groups, and is in a good part of town that is central to the majority. The conference room typically cost something to reserve, but I was told that if we established ourselves there as a regular visit in numbers as with Tacos, that they could wave the fee. It might be worth you looking into further Jerry

I lived 300 yards from there for two years. I was a regular. We knew the owner before the recent sale. Not exactly a place that wouldn't be on our radar. However, the closest parking is underneath the library three blocks away and even that is (sometimes literally too!) hit or miss. Kirkland is a big traffic/crime/parking clusterphuck so it is not going to be entertained at this time. The summer months would make this establishment completely untenable. Don't get me wrong though, I personally like the place but it doesn't meet all of our needs.

The Keg at the south end of Lake Street would be a better option at the same price point. The Park and Ride next door even offers unlimited parking now that the Sonics are moving. Still not in the target area though.

Remember just because a place seems like a fit when you first visit it, doesn't mean that it will work 12 months of the year or five years into the future. We are starting the selection process with a narrow search area and working our way out. We are going to Applebees next week, we'll see how that goes.
