FRFR,

Sorry, no. I traded with someone strict across with an 18" set. Unfortunately the offset is a little bit wrong and it causes rubbing to the fender. I bought another 18" set of wheels OZ superlegger and it has the right offset. However, I didn't have time to put them on yet. (Same as Ray, bought a turbo charge and let it collects dust for 6+ months)

If you are looking to get a new set of wheels, make sure you have the right offset first. Either you go to the shop, put it on to see if it fits or simply ask people on this board. I am sure people can tell you if it has the right offset.

didn't the guy who traded u the 18"S already known that the wheel have wrong offset?!??! if so, i think that guy was scamming u. U know the stock 17s are so nice and so many people want them. can't believe there are such A-hole out there. who did u trade with?

ok, since you ask and I hate to admit it. Before I do that trade, I didn't even know what an offset is. I didn't even know such thing exist. The reason is for my previous car (Eclipse), it is soooo forgiving on after-market parts. You can pretty much put any 18" or 19" wheels without rubbing or any problems. Even other mechanical parts, you can pretty much snap it on and it works. I take this for granted and I thought it is the same as S2000, it will fit any 18" wheels. Apparently I am wrong. Also, don't just look at the offset. The weight is important too. Some 18" are super heavy and some are light. My OZ superleggar is very light. The only problem is there a one or two major scratch on it. If anyone know where I can restore wheels, let me know. Anyone one how much is it on average to fix wheels?

If you are seriously thinking about getting new wheels, I would highly recommend you keep your stock one. Later on when you sell your car, you can put those back and sell your after-market things seperately. Same as your sway bar, if you are getting the one from Ray (which is a good price), make sure keep your factory one. (and let me know if you need help to install it)

Next time, do more research before you do anything to your car. Just like your sway bar, post it and ask for opinion and you may get a good deal like in your case.

I traded it with John Chan. He used it for daily drive and use his factory one for Solo 1 (or the other way around).

I've heard good things about Custom Wheel Repair in Lynnwood. I've heard mixed things about Foster's Wheel Repair in Freemont.
