EVENT: Need 4 SPEED!
bluetoy ( Jim ) would like any of us who might be available and interested in possibly witnessing his friend attempt to break the LandSPEED record to come out!
WHEN: Saturday March 24th at 11:00 AM
WHERE: Northwest Aviation & Trade Confrence Puyallup Fairgrounds
Those comming from No will meet up at the Dead Billy Mchales Lot as per usual...
I will say at 10:00 AM for now
Will leave at 10:30
to Puyallup/Spannaway & hook up with Jim!
Should be purdy
to see the Eagle

Jim said they will be there most the afternoon but we will prolly just stay an hour or two and then go eat lunch somewhere in the area ( 2 be decided soon )
Its in a hanger so weather is not an issue allthough it would be nice to have some
for our down

The North American Eagle will be on TV this tuesday evening at 7:30, KBTC channel 12. I haven't seen the previews so I don't know what they coverered.........Ed Shadle
To clarify, no actual speed attempt, not nearly enough running room. It is located in thier work facility. Volunteers will be working on various projects. Might be interesting to hear how they intend to keep a mach + airplane with wheels on the planet and under control at the speeds they will attempt to go.

WHERE: Shady Acres Airport, 218 44th Ave. E. For those coming from the south and not meeting at Biillies. Be sure to go straight when turning onto 44tth Ave. E. (its a taxi way), a wrong trun you may find yourself on a runway. Go to the end of the road were there is a fence. The volenteers will be working on projects and things. The work space for the vehicle is in a hanger. Should be a good visit. Location about 20 to 30 min from Bill McHales.
